Last year we had so much fun at our reunion, we decided to come back! By popular demand, we are beginning a new tradition and planning a 2nd Year Mini-Reunion celebration on Friday, June 6, 2008 during the University’s annual Alumni Weekend. Catch up with classmates and enjoy one of Chicago’s favorite spots. The cost of the evening ($20 per person in advance; $30 at the door) covers dinner and beer, wine, and soda. Don’t forget that the overall discount on registration before April 25 will cut down the cost of this event to a mere $10! Shuttle service will be provided from campus and from the Alumni Weekend hotels.

After breakfast at Bartlett Dining Commons, we’ll march with our banner through the Quads to Rockefeller Chapel for the Alumni Convocation. Mildred Dresselhaus, PhD’59, a world-renowned scientist, will speak.

Revel in Chicago spirit at our family-friendly picnic. We’ll celebrate the achievements of the College Reunion classes. Look for the tables reserved for our class at this festive lunch with alumni from across the University.

This annual gala features a variety of dinner options, drinks, and live music. Those attending the Interfraternity Sing or having dinner elsewhere can come after 9:30 p.m. at a reduced price for dessert, drinks, and dancing until midnight. There will be a special price of $20 per person for the full party for recent graduates (Classes of 2003–2007).
Encourage participation:
- Participate by making a gift to the College Fund. Really, what compelling argument is there for not giving a few dollars to the school that gave us the intellectual leg up over most other graduates in the world? Every gift is a unique opportunity for our class to speak together in support of our University and have a stake in the legacy of the Class of 2006.
- Get in touch with friends, and make sure they’re coming back as well. If you’ve lost contact with someone, check out the online directory and send e-cards to boost attendance.
